• Books on Money

The first four of these books focus on your relationship with money in general. The last one is a series of papers on money in psychotherapy. It's from a psychoanalytic perspective, but is relevant for therapists of any theoretical orientation. Click on any of the covers for a link to purchase from Powells, a local bookstore in Portland. (I get a small commission if you purchase through the link, but mainly I want to support a bookseller that's not a major corporation.)

  • Business Books

Grodski's book is becoming a classic. Get Clients Now is a 28 day plan to fill the referral pipeline.

  • Clinical Books

These are books I frequently recommend to supervisees and consultees who are interested in improving their relational psychodynamic clinical skills. Even if you have a good amount of training in this area, they can be very containing on those days when you have a session that leaves you wondering what the heck you are doing. They are great no-BS, super-readable psychodynamic resources.
